Beach or Bust Dudes!

I'm headed to the Outer Banks with my parents and my cousins. Plan to save my surfin skills for OBX 2012 but will at least hit the sand as a beach bunny in my cool new baby bikini! Stay tuned for picture updates...

Simple Entertainment

Maggie's latest is her obsession with making the monkey move on her bouncy seat. These pictures don't really do it justice...it is hilarious in person. She is entertained by that little animal for so long, frantically kicking her feet and waving her arms to get him to move. Mr. Monkey gets many coos and we've recently heard an occasional giggle as she chats it up with him.

Maggie had her two month checkup yesterday. It was quite traumatic for her mommy and daddy as she got her first round of shots. She performed just perfect for the doctor though, smiling and cooing throughout the appt until the dreaded shots. After a slight fever yesterday and a ton of sleep she seems to be feeling a bit better today. The bath and her posh new baby robe must have helped...Thanks Kenny and Dana! She's up to a whopping 9 pounds 9 ounces and is 22 inches long. Still following her own little peanut growth curve :)

Grandparents Galore

Hey guys....It's me, Maggie. This month I got to meet my Nana Jennie "Nana J" and my Grandpa and Grandma Hulke. I've finally met all six grandparents! I've loved every minute of the extra hugs and kisses I've gotten from each one of you....keep 'em coming! Can't wait to see you all again :) Love you!

Hip Hip Hooray...I'm 8 weeks Old!

Maggie is sleeping like a champ at night, sometimes going 8 hours. We are getting more smiles daily and we live for the coos that seem to come maily after baths and when she is being changed. I mean, who wouldn't love to have their poopy diapers changed?!
